Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Komitmen pada Karyawan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (Pdam) Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee commitment in the local water company (PDAM) Tirta Kencana City of Samarinda. The sample in this study were 120 employees. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collected by literature study and questionnaire through Google form. Variable (X) organizational culture and variable (Y) employee commitment. For scale range analysis techniques use the interval formula and use a Likert scale. To test the validity of using the instrument validity test that uses a total score on the question or statement. To produce the validity coefficient using SPSS 22. To test the validity of the instrument researchers used product moment correlation analysis at a confidence level ∝ = 0.05. For data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the organizational culture variable had a significant positive effect on the commitment of the employees of the Samarinda Tirta Kencana Regional Water Company and it was found that the regression coefficient value was 0.600. From the results of the validity test with six indicators in eighteen statements obtained valid results with r count ≥ rtable (0.177) and the questionnaire declared reliable because Cronbach's Alpha is greater than a constant (0.926> 0.6). While the results of the validity test with four indicators in the twelve statements obtained valid results with r count ≥ rtable (0.177) and the questionnaire was declared reliable because Cronbach's Alpha is greater than a constant (0.923> 0.6).
