dc.description.abstractLatar Belakang: Diabetes melitus merupakan suatu penyakit keturunan, atau bahkan diakibatkan dari pola hidup yang tidak sehat berkaitan dengan kebiasaan mengonsumsi makanan atau minuman manis. Penyakit diabetes melitus ini tidak bisa disembuhkan,akan tetapi dapat di kontrol dengan diet dan pengobatan yang tepat secara disiplin. Pare merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang diketahui dapat dijadikan alternatif pengobatan diabetes melitus.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui “Pengaruh Pemberian Jus Pare (Momordica Charantia) dengan Penurunan Glukosa Darah Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II. Metode: Studi literatur dengan menggunakan 8 jurnal Internasional dan 4 jurnal nasional. Hasil: Dari hasil review 12 jurnal membuktikan bahwa jus pare mampu menurunkan glukosa darah karena mengandung polipeptida-p, karantin,dan lektin yang dapat menurunkan glukosa darah. Kesimpulan: ada pengaruh pemberian jus pare dengan penurunan glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes melitus.id_ID
