dc.description.abstractLatar Belakang: Sebagai upaya dalam memutus mata rantai penyebaran COVID-19, pemerintah Indonesia meminta warganya agar segera melakukan vaksinasi. Ibu hamil dan menyusui termasuk kedalam pasien yang membutuhkan anamnesa tambahan terkait pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19. Hal ini dikarenakan terbatasnya studi mengenai keamanan dan efektivitas dari vaksin COVID-19 pada ibu hamil dan menyusui. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui kriteria ibu hamil dan menyusui yang dapat menerima vaksin COVID-19, efektivitas, keamanan dan KIPI vaksin COVID-19 pada ibu hamil dan menyusui. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review, yang mengumpulkan artikel terkait vaksinasi COVID-19 pada ibu hamil dan menyusui, yang bersumber dari berbagai database jurnal, baik nasional maupun internasional seperti PubMed, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, dan ScienceDirect. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pencarian artikel dari berbagai database jurnal, didapatkan 29 artikel sesuai kriteria inklusi dan terkait dengan topik penelitian. Kesimpulan: Kriteria ibu hamil dan menyusui yang dapat melakukan vaksinasi COVID-19 antara lain; suhu tubuh normal 37,5ºC, usia kehamilan >3 minggu, tidak mengalami preeklampsia, tidak memiliki alergi berat, jika memiliki penyakit komorbid harus terkontrol, tidak sedang menjalani pengobatan immunosupressant, kelainan darah, dan defisiensi imun. KIPI selain gejala umum dari vaksinasi COVID-19 yang dialami ibu hamil dan menyusui antara lain; kontraksi rahim, perubahan suplai susu, perdarahan vagina, perubahan warna susu, ketuban pecah sebelum persalinan, kelahiran prematur, keguguran, kematian neonatus, saluran susu tersumbat, perdarahan postpartum, pembengkakan payudara, kelainan janin, mastitis dan ukuran kecil untuk usia kehamilan. Vaksin COVID-19 aman digunakan ibu hamil dan menyusui. Vaksin COVID-19 efektif untuk digunakan pada ibu hamil dan menyusui. Selain memberikan perlindungan pada ibu hamil dan menyusui, vaksin COVID-19 juga memberikan antibodi terhadap SARS-CoV-2 ke janin atau bayi yang disusui.id_ID
