dc.description.abstractTujuan Studi : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan tingkat depresi pada remaja selama pandemi COVID-19. Metodologi : Penelitian ini merupakan studi Cross-sectional dengan instrumen penelitian kuesioner Social Networking Time Use Scale (SONTUS) dan The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression (CES-D). Populasi penelitian adalah Mahasiswa Aktif Prodi S1 Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur sejumlah 697 orang. Besar sampel adalah 84 orang dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Uji statistik Spearman rank dengan α = 5% digunakan untuk melihat korelasi antara variabel dependen dengan variabel independen. Hasil : Hasil uji Spearman rank pada α = 5%, didapatkan p value 0.088 > 0.05. Artinya, tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan tingkat depresi pada remaja selama pandemi COVID-19. Manfaat : Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya dan sebagai informasi tambahan dalam bidang kesehatan.id_ID
