dc.description.abstractDiabetes mellitus tipe 2 adalah kelainan metabolik dengan ditandai adanya peningkatan gula darah dengan resistensi insulin dan relative insulin, diabetes mellitus tipe 2 dapat disebabkan oleh kelebihan berat badan (obesitas), gaya hidup yang tidak sehat, dan faktor keturunan. komplikasi yang sering terjadi pada diabetes mellitus tipe 2 adalah reaksi hipoglikemi. reaksi hipoglikemi ini dapat terjadi pada penderita DM tipe 2, dengan prevalensi kejadian kurang lebih sebanyak 25%. kondisi hipoglikemi dapat dilihat dari menurungnya kadar gula darah mencapai < 70 mg/dl. akibat dari kondisi hipoglikemi adalah gangguan koagulasi darah, infeksi, gangguan sistem saraf, hingga kematian.id_ID
