HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN PENJAMAH DENGAN CEMARAN BAKTERI COLIFORM PADA DEPOT AIR MINUM ISI ULANG DI KELURAHAN AIR PUTIH
Abstract
Background: Workers at drinking water depots frequently interact with water and related equipment. These controllers are responsible for setting up, cleaning, and general management of the facility. In addition, things such as education, age, knowledge and attitudes of society influence their behavior. In Air Putih District, Samarinda City, there are 14 drinking water depots. Nine of them did not have the proper certification and five had the required certification. Target: Determine whether there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of officers and contamintion coliform bacteria in Air Putih Village, Samarinda City. Method: This research uses laboratory experimental methods and a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Results: The analysis results show that the controller does not have a significant relationship to bacterial contamination. The coliform bacteria test using the same method showed that 9 samples met the quality standards and 5 samples exceeded the quality standards. Based on quantitative descriptive analysis of the relationship between the level of education of handlers and coliform contamination in DAMIU, Air Putih District, Samarinda City, it was found that the relationship was not significant (significance value 0.872). Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between DAMIU coliform bacteria contamination in Air Putih Subdistrict, Samarinda City and the education level of officers.
