dc.description.abstractLatar Belakang : Berdasar wawancara tidak terstruktur terhadap 10 orang perawat (5 di Ruang Cempaka dan 5 di Ruang Edelweis). Tujuan : Hubungan kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang instalasi rawat inap publik 2 ( edelwes dan cempaka ) rumah sakit umum daerah Abdul wahab sjahranie Samarinda. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan rancangan cross sectional . sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu perawat di instalasi Rawat Inap Publik 2 Ruang Edelwes dan cempaka RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda yaitu berjumlah 71 responden analisis data menggunakan univariat dan bivariate menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil Penelitian : Ditemukan ada 22 dari 28 (78,6%) perawat .kurang puas dengan pekerjaan memiliki kinerja .kurang baik. Ada juga 27 dari 43 (62,8%) .puas dengan pekerjaan menunjukkan kinerja .baik. ada 6 dari 28 (21,4%). kurang puas dengan pekerjaannya sebagai perawat tetapi tetap kinerja baik. Dan 16 dari 43 (37,5%),puas dalam kerjanya justru kinerja kurang baik. Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang perawatan bedah (p-value 0,002; α: 0,005).
