dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and work motivation
on employee performance at UPTD PPRD Bapenda of East Kalimantan province,
Kutai Kartanegara region. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data
collection technique uses the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this
research object is 35 people and the sampling technique used in this study is non
probability sampling with saturated sampling technique and measuring instruments.
The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, classical
assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the
compensation variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect partially on
employee performance (Y), the work motivation variable (X2) has a positive and
significant effect partially on employee performance (Y), and compensation and
work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee
performance at UPTD PPRD Bapenda of East Kalimantan province, Kutai
Kartanegara region. The relationship between compensation variables, work
motivation, and employee performance is strong and unidirectional because the
