IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN ASEAN INTEGRATED FOOD SECURITY DALAM MENGURANGI TINGKAT KELAPARAN DI ASIA TENGGARA
Abstract
Food security is a very important thing in the development of a country, because it
is a basic need and is included in the category of human rights that must be met. A
country that cannot fulfill these basic rights can be said to be a country that fails to
prosper its people. If food security in a country is unstable, many problems will be
caused such as rising hunger and malnutrition rates in the country. Therefore,
Asean has made a policy called Asean Integrated Food Security which aims to
strive for food security in the region to be stable. With this policy, it is hoped that
countries in the Southeast Asian Region can actively collaborate to create
integrated food security. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method,
so that it can help the author in explaining the results of the research in more detail
and can describe how the implementation of the Asean Integrated Food Security
policy in reducing hunger levels in Southeast Asia. The data used in this study is
data from previous journals and official media news. The results obtained from this
study are that the Asean Integrated Food Security policy is still not effective in
implementing its policy in reducing hunger levels in Southeast Asia.
